Senior Sales Analyst
About the role
The Senior Sales & Commercial Analyst will join the Sales Business Analyst team of a growing, commercially focused business. The role involves working closely with senior leadership and commercial stakeholders to provide data-driven insights, support strategic decision-making, and improve sales performance. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining dashboards and reports using Power BI, Excel, and HubSpot, managing sales reporting processes, supporting CRM administration, and identifying opportunities for process automation and improvement. The analyst will also ensure the accuracy and governance of commercial data, produce business performance reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver analytical solutions.
Must have
- 3–5 years of experience in Business Analytics, Commercial Analytics, Sales Analytics, or a similar analytical role
- Experience working closely with sales or commercial teams to provide performance insights and support business decision-making
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
- Strong experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Ability to analyse complex data and translate findings into clear, actionable business insights
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Commercially minded with a strong understanding of business performance and sales drivers
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to continuous improvement
- Strong ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Flexible to work Sri Lanka business hours (11:00 AM – 7:30 PM) and UK business hours when required to support business needs
Nice to have
- A qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related discipline will be an added advantage
