Software Engineering Intern
About the role
GenO3 is seeking a motivated Software Engineering Intern to join their team and contribute to real-world software projects. The intern will assist in developing web, mobile, and backend applications, support frontend development with React or Next.js, contribute to mobile app development using Flutter, and help build backend services and APIs with Python or Go. Additional responsibilities include working with databases, integrating third-party APIs, testing and debugging features, writing clean code, and collaborating with the team using Git. The ideal candidate is an undergraduate or recent graduate in a relevant field, with a basic understanding of programming concepts and familiarity with at least one of the listed technologies. Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills are essential, along with a willingness to learn new technologies.
Must have
- An undergraduate or recent graduate in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of programming and software-development concepts.
- Familiarity with at least one of the following: Python or Go; React or Next.js; Flutter and Dart.
- Basic knowledge of APIs, databases, and Git.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and take on challenges.
Nice to have
- Academic, personal, freelance, or open-source software projects.
- Basic knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or AI API integration.
