Visiting Lecturer – AI & Business Automation
About the role
ITMS Campus in Kurunegala is seeking visiting lecturers to teach its Applied AI & Business Automation Program through online classes and practical sessions. The role involves preparing lesson materials, delivering engaging online classes for beginners and professionals, assessing assignments, supervising student projects, and teaching responsible use of AI in business contexts. Applicants may teach the full program or selected modules within their expertise, covering topics such as AI foundations, business data analysis, workflow automation, chatbots, APIs, and more. Candidates should have relevant qualifications and practical experience in AI and automation applied to business tasks, as well as the ability to explain technical concepts in Sinhala using English terminology. Teaching or mentoring experience is advantageous. Must have
- A relevant qualification in IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience applying AI and automation to business tasks.
- Practical knowledge of workflow platforms such as Make, Zapier, n8n or equivalent tools.
- Relevant skills in spreadsheets, dashboards, chatbots, APIs or Python, depending on the modules offered.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly in Sinhala, using English technical terminology.
Nice to have
- Teaching, training or project mentoring experience would be an advantage.
