Technical Lead - Microsoft 365
About the role
The Technical Lead - Microsoft 365 will be responsible for designing, delivering, and optimizing Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace solutions for enterprise clients, primarily in the Financial Services sector. The role involves leading transformation projects, architecting secure and efficient environments, mentoring technical team members, and acting as a trusted advisor to clients. Key responsibilities include driving migrations, implementing security and compliance measures, automating processes, and serving as a technical escalation point. The position is with a leading data and technology consultancy operating in Australia and Sri Lanka, offering opportunities to work with the latest Microsoft technologies and influence technical direction within a collaborative and innovative team.
Must have
- 7+ years of experience working with Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace technologies.
- Strong expertise across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Security solutions.
- Experience delivering Microsoft 365 implementations, migrations, or transformation projects.
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell automation and Microsoft Graph.
- Strong understanding of endpoint management, identity and access management, and cloud security best practices.
- Experience working directly with customers and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
