Associate AI & Automation Engineer - Sri Lanka
About the role
Acendae is seeking an Associate AI & Automation Engineer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in workflow automation to join their engineering team in Sri Lanka. The role involves building and maintaining automated workflows using tools like n8n and Make.com, integrating applications and systems via REST APIs and webhooks, implementing AI-powered workflows with LLMs, Claude, and Model Context Protocol (MCP), and working with PostgreSQL, Supabase, and SQL for data solutions. The position also includes testing, troubleshooting, and documenting scalable automation systems. Candidates should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good English communication, and the ability to work independently with international clients. Must have
- At least 2 years of practical experience building automation workflows.
- Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and database fundamentals.
- An interest in AI, LLMs, and emerging automation technologies.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong English communication skills and the ability to work independently with international clients.
- A willingness to keep learning and take ownership of your work.
Nice to have
- Experience with Claude, MCP, PostgreSQL, and Supabase is a strong plus.
