Senior Demand Planning Executive - Systems and Automation
About the role
The Senior Demand Planning Executive - Systems and Automation at ProActiveChain is responsible for forecasting demand for global e-commerce brands, analyzing sales data, and ensuring optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excess. The role involves building and improving the company's in-house planning and forecasting system, acting as a bridge between the Demand Planning & Inventory Control team and developers, and converting manual processes into automated solutions. Key responsibilities include data analysis, stakeholder collaboration, system development coordination, and continuous process improvement. The position offers exposure to global clients, career growth opportunities, and a dynamic, innovative team environment.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management / Statistics or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in demand planning or forecasting, ideally in e-commerce or retail.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling).
- Ability to document manual processes as clear, structured SOPs.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong communicator who can work across teams, manage multiple client accounts, and coordinate with an external development team.
- Comfortable explaining planning logic to non-planning people (developers) and translating their questions back to the team.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and driven by ownership and accountability.
- Prior experience working with or helping build a system (ERP, planning tool, or custom-built platform) - ideally on the “giving requirements to developers” side.
- Most importantly: someone who’s open to discussing improvements, experimenting with ideas, and adding value beyond the job description.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central, ERP systems, or inventory tools is a plus.
