Senior Quality Assurance Lead
About the role
The Senior Quality Assurance Lead will be responsible for end-to-end quality assurance of enterprise-grade technology solutions within the Banking and Financial Services sector. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on test planning, execution, governance, migration validation, and coordination with various stakeholders. The role involves leading quality activities across banking integrations and migrations, ensuring reliable delivery through effective test management and collaboration with customer development, testing, and business teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in QA, particularly in banking integration and migration testing, and will be expected to promote best practices and continuous improvement across delivery teams.
Must have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8+ years of overall Quality Assurance / software testing experience.
- Minimum 3+ years leading banking integration and/or migration testing.
- Proven experience in end-to-end testing, test governance, and migration validation.
- Strong understanding of banking systems, financial services processes, and banking integrations.
- Experience in test planning, test execution, defect management, risk tracking, and quality reporting.
- Experience coordinating with customer development, testing, and business teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with core banking platforms and large-scale banking transformation programs.
- Knowledge of APIs, databases, data migration, reconciliation, and system integration testing.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and modern software delivery practices.
- Relevant QA, testing, banking, Agile, or technical certifications.
