About the role

The Deputy Manager - Information Security at SDB bank is responsible for overseeing and controlling all aspects of information security within the bank. The role involves planning, implementing, and monitoring security measures to protect the bank's data and information assets from cyber threats, unauthorized access, corruption, and theft. The position requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure that information security practices align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The bank is a licensed specialized bank regulated by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, with a strong focus on innovation and community impact.

Must have

Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering in Information Technology from a recognized university, or a full professional qualification from a globally accredited IT professional institute such as BCS.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the Information Security field.
Sound knowledge of Information Security, Cyber Security, IT Risk Management, and Security Operations.
Hands-on experience in Threat & Vulnerability Management, Access Management, Privileged Access Management (PAM), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
Minimum 6 years of full-time work experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility and creativity.
Good knowledge of Information Security frameworks and standards including ISO/IEC 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, PCI DSS, and CIS Controls.
