Account Manager Information Communication Technology
About the role
The position is for a Business Development / Account Manager within the Enterprise ICT and Telecommunications division, based in Colombo 01. The role focuses on developing and growing strategic enterprise accounts by taking a consultative and strategic approach to account development. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a deep understanding of customers' businesses, engaging with senior business and technology stakeholders, identifying opportunities, and positioning relevant ICT solutions that deliver measurable business value. Key responsibilities include managing complex enterprise sales opportunities and strategic accounts, and independently developing business opportunities and long-term customer relationships. Candidates should have a degree in a relevant field and significant experience in enterprise ICT, telecommunications, business development, or strategic account management.
Must have
- Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, IT, Electronics, Business or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in enterprise ICT, telecommunications, business development or strategic account management.
- Strong understanding of enterprise ICT and/or telecommunications solutions.
- Proven ability to manage complex enterprise sales opportunities and strategic accounts.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with both senior business leaders and technical stakeholders.
- Strategic, self-driven and capable of independently developing business opportunities and long-term customer relationships.
Nice to have
- A technical or solution-oriented background combined with commercial experience will be an advantage.
