Senior Quality Engineering Lead
About the role
This is a 3-month interim contract role for a Senior Quality Engineering Lead to support an international client. The position involves leading the implementation of quality improvements after an external review and establishing a robust testing framework and governance model to enhance quality across the organisation. Key responsibilities include setting up a QE governance model, defining standard testing practices, implementing risk-based testing, maximising Azure DevOps usage, and improving SIT and UAT readiness. The role is remote and requires working Australian hours (AEST/AEDT).
Must have
- Proven experience in setting up test governance or a testing framework for an organisation (not just test execution)
- Experience in implementing a risk-based testing approach
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans
- Experience with MS Dynamics CE
- Experience coordinating SIT and UAT with business users and third-party vendors
- Experience defining test approaches for data migration and system integrations Experience in coaching teams and handing over a framework for others to run
- Australian Working Hours (AEST/AEDT)
Nice to have
- Test environment and test data management
- Experience in member-based, insurance or not-for-profit organisations
- ISTQB Advanced Test Manager or similar certification
