Business Analyst
About the role
Growth Prof is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team in Colombo, focusing on aligning business goals with technical solutions in the Australian Tax Industry. The role involves assisting with requirements gathering, creating user stories, participating in Agile practices, developing wireframes and prototypes, supporting User Acceptance Testing, and preparing documentation. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of business analysis experience, a relevant degree, and a basic understanding of requirement gathering, user stories, wireframing, and documentation. The position offers the opportunity to work with both experienced professionals and new talent in a collaborative environment.
Must have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in business analysis, with experience in Agile environments.
- Basic understanding of requirement gathering, user stories, wireframing, and documentation.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to different audiences.
- Willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams and learn from experienced professionals.
- Familiarity with basic business analysis tools and methods.
- Eager to develop stakeholder management skills and build professional relationships.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and experience working in software development teams.

Highlights
