Assistant IT Manager - Capital Markets and Stockbroking
About the role
The Assistant IT Manager - Capital Markets / Stockbroking at Richard Pieris Securities (Pvt) Ltd is responsible for ensuring the high availability, security, and continuity of the firm's core trading systems, network infrastructure, and business applications. The role oversees trading system operations, infrastructure and cybersecurity, business continuity and disaster recovery, compliance and audits, and user support during trading hours. The position acts as a technical bridge between internal business functions and key industry bodies, including the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and Central Depository Systems (CDS), to guarantee operational uptime and strict regulatory compliance. Candidates should have a degree in IT or related fields and relevant experience, particularly in financial services or stockbroking environments.
Must have
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
- 3–5 years of IT experience (financial services or stockbroking background highly preferred).
- Windows/Linux Server, Active Directory, M365, Cisco/Networking, Firewalls, Virtualization, Database Basics.
- Familiarity with CSE/CDS environments, OMS tools, and capital market compliance frameworks.
- High resilience during live market hours, attention to audit integrity, and strong vendor coordination capabilities.
