UI/UX Engineer
About the role
Double H Global is expanding its UI/UX talent network and is seeking UI/UX Engineers and Designers in Sri Lanka who are interested in working with international teams across the Middle East, Europe, the US, UK, Australia, and other markets. The role involves designing intuitive digital experiences, creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, and collaborating closely with developers and product managers. Candidates should have a strong portfolio, proficiency in Figma, and a solid understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility. The company connects Sri Lankan tech professionals with global opportunities and supports candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Must have
- 2+ years of professional experience in UI/UX Design, Product Design, UI Engineering, or a related role
- Strong proficiency in Figma and modern design/prototyping tools
- Experience creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, responsive design, and usability
- Ability to translate business and user requirements into clear, intuitive interfaces
- Experience building and maintaining design systems and reusable UI components
- Good understanding of typography, spacing, colour, layout, and visual hierarchy
- Experience designing responsive experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile
- Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles
- Ability to collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain design decisions clearly
- A strong portfolio showcasing real UI/UX projects and your design process
Nice to have
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with React.js, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, or similar frontend technologies
- Ability to translate Figma designs into responsive, production-ready interfaces
- Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows
- Experience with usability testing, analytics, or A/B testing
