Software Engineer - .Net + React.Js + Azure
About the role
Gallagher is seeking a Software Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join their team focused on building and supporting web applications using .NET, React, and SQL. The role involves designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining web applications, optimizing SQL queries, participating in all stages of the software development life cycle, and contributing to cloud-based solutions in Azure. The position also offers the opportunity to learn and support OutSystems development as the team's needs evolve. Candidates should have hands-on experience with C#/.NET, React.js, Microsoft SQL Server, and working knowledge of Azure, Agile/SCRUM, SDLC, REST APIs, and source control systems. Must have
- 3 to 5 years of experience in software development.
- Hands on experience with C# / .NET Framework or .NET Core.
- Hands on experience with React.js.
- Hands on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, software testing practices, Agile / SCRUM, SDLC processes, REST APIs and web services, and Git or other source control systems.
- Good analytical, problem solving and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work well with others.
Nice to have
- Exposure to OutSystems or another low code platform is an advantage.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, application performance optimisation and security principles is an advantage.
- Relevant certifications will be considered an advantage.
