UI/UX Designer
About the role
MO Marketplace App is seeking a UI/UX Designer to join their team in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The role involves designing user interfaces and experiences for the MO Marketplace e-commerce app and website, focusing on product listings, checkout, search, and account flows. The designer will create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, improve existing screens based on user data, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain the design system. Applicants must have hands-on experience designing for both mobile apps and e-commerce or marketplace platforms, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
Must have
- 3–5 years of UI/UX design experience
- Proven experience designing mobile apps (required)
- Proven experience designing e-commerce or marketplace platforms (required)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating app and commerce design work
- Proficiency in Figma (or equivalent design tools)
- Understanding of mobile design patterns, usability principles, auto layout and conversion-focused design
- Ability to work closely with developers on Flutter implementation
Nice to have
- Experience with design systems
- Familiarity with GA4/Firebase or user behavior analytics informing design decisions
- Familiarity with front end development experience
