Team Leader
About the role
The Team Leader at FAITE will be responsible for guiding a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality technology solutions. This full-time, on-site role in Colombo involves planning and assigning tasks, monitoring project progress, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met, and facilitating communication between team members and stakeholders. The Team Leader will also mentor team members, review work output, contribute to project documentation, and support a collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate will have leadership and people-management skills, experience in project management within technology or software teams, strong communication abilities, and an understanding of software development or related IT domains. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required.
Must have
- Demonstrated leadership and people-management skills, including team coordination, mentoring, and performance feedback.
- Experience in project management, including task planning, prioritization, and progress tracking within technology or software teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with skill in stakeholder management and conflict resolution.
- Understanding of software development, cloud services, or related IT domains sufficient to guide and support technical teams.
- Ability to work on-site in Colombo, manage multiple initiatives, and adapt to a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Experience in a technology company or consulting environment is an advantage; familiarity with agile or similar methodologies is beneficial.
