Junior IT Technician
About the role
Kings Hospital Colombo is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join their IT team as a Junior IT Technician. The role involves supporting IT operations within a modern multi-specialty corporate hospital, with responsibilities including troubleshooting, problem-solving, and assisting non-technical users. Candidates should have a relevant diploma or NVQ Level 3 or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, and knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, LAN/WAN technologies, and printer troubleshooting. Strong communication, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset are essential. Applications are to be sent via email to the Human Resources Department.
Must have
- Diploma or NVQ Level 3 (or higher) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, LAN/WAN technologies, and printer troubleshooting.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to support non-technical users.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Team-oriented mindset with willingness to work longer hours if required.
