Intern Systems Engineer
About the role
The Intern Systems Engineer will assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of both cloud and on-premises systems, supporting Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Microsoft 365, servers, and databases. The role involves monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, collaborating with the IT team on security and data integrity, and participating in the development and deployment of cloud-based solutions. Additional responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, delivering user training sessions, communicating technical concepts to various audiences, documenting procedures, and providing technical support to end-users. Candidates should be pursuing a relevant degree and possess strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Must have
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Systems and Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and public speaking abilities, with confidence in engaging both technical and business audiences.
- Ability to create and deliver technical demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions.
- Positive attitude, customer-focused mindset, and willingness to learn.
- Eagerness to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced technology environment.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies is an added advantage.
