Systems Engineer (Microsoft Products Support)
About the role
DMS Electronics (Pvt) Ltd is seeking Systems Engineers to support Microsoft products within enterprise infrastructure environments. The role involves designing, deploying, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Microsoft-based systems, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, Microsoft 365, and related technologies. Responsibilities also include participating in pre-sales activities, conducting technical demonstrations, and collaborating with sales and technical teams to deliver IT solutions. Candidates should have a degree or professional qualification in IT or a related field, along with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft infrastructure and systems administration. The company is a leading IT solutions provider in Sri Lanka, partnering with major global technology vendors.
Must have
- Degree or professional qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft infrastructure, systems administration, or a similar enterprise IT environment.
- Practical experience in deploying and supporting Windows Server and Microsoft infrastructure technologies.
- Hands-on knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2022/2025, Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), Group Policy, DNS and DHCP, Microsoft Hyper-V and Failover Clustering, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online / Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Hybrid Identity and Microsoft Cloud technologies, Backup, Disaster Recovery and High Availability concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a technical team.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of technical tasks.
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality technical solutions and support.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations when required.
- Willingness to work extended hours or participate in on-call activities when required to support critical customer environments.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Citrix, VMware/VMware vSphere, networking, storage, security and other enterprise infrastructure technologies will be an added advantage.
