About the role
This role is for a Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) responsible for designing and developing enterprise solutions for a major global corporation. The position involves implementing distributed, highly available applications, adhering to CI/CD and DevOps principles, and working collaboratively in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with both backend (Node.js, Java) and frontend (React.js, Next.js) technologies, as well as AWS cloud services and database management. The company values high code quality, effective communication, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
Must have
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 2–4 years of experience developing production-grade enterprise applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Experience with backend development using Node.js (Express.js) and/or Java (Spring Boot).
- Experience with frontend technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, React.js, and Next.js, with a good understanding of frontend state management and asynchronous data handling.
- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including database design, querying, and performance optimization.
- Extensive knowledge of AWS cloud services, including experience designing, building, deploying, and maintaining cloud-native applications using services such as ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and related DevOps services.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control systems.
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Quality Engineering best practices.
- Familiarity with Scrum Agile delivery methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented, quick learner, and committed to delivering high-quality software
