IT Administrator
About the role
The IT Administrator at Electro Serv Lanka (Pvt) Ltd will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and continuously improving the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, computers, printers, and communication systems. The role involves providing technical support and troubleshooting, administrating generic software and IT infrastructure, managing email systems and user accounts, implementing IT security policies, performing data backup and preventive maintenance, managing software licenses and hardware inventory, assisting with IT system integration and digital transformation, maintaining IT documentation, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity best practices. The position is suited for candidates with a relevant degree or diploma and 5-8 years of experience in IT administration, preferably in engineering, construction, manufacturing, or multi-site organizations.
Must have
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in IT administration, preferably in an engineering, construction, manufacturing, or multi-site organization.
- Strong knowledge of network administration, Windows environments, cybersecurity, backup solutions, and IT infrastructure.
- Experience with LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, switches, routers, and Wi-Fi infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while providing effective support to users at different organizational levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of ERP systems and integration with business operations will be an advantage.
