Information Technology Technician
About the role
The IT Technician will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining IT equipment, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily IT activities. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining computers, printers, and other IT equipment, as well as assisting with network connectivity and supporting employees with technical issues. Candidates should have strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and good communication skills. The position is with a team-oriented company and requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Must have
- Diploma or professional qualification in Information Technology or a related field.
- Good knowledge of computer hardware, software, and basic networking.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in a similar role will be an added advantage.
