Junior Associate
About the role
The Junior Associate role at Prime Group involves supporting governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) functions within the organization. Key responsibilities include preparing and maintaining information security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation, assisting with ISMS activities, collecting evidence for audits and risk assessments, supporting information security risk assessments, monitoring compliance requirements, coordinating with departments for information and evidence, and maintaining GRC records and project documentation. Candidates should have 3 to 6 months of experience in GRC, information security, IT audit, compliance, or a related field, and possess a basic understanding of ISO/IEC 27001 and information security principles. Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and willingness to learn are essential. The role is based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and offers the opportunity to work with a leading real estate conglomerate.
Must have
- 3 - 6 months of experience in GRC, information security, IT audit, compliance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of ISO/IEC 27001 and information security principles.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn, follow established procedures, and work under the guidance of senior team members.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with documentation, compliance activities, or risk management concepts is an advantage.
- A degree, diploma, or relevant qualification in IT, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field is preferred.
