About the role
The Lead Security Automation Engineer role is based in Colombo, Sri Lanka and is responsible for driving security automation initiatives, including SOAR workflows, API integrations, and incident response automation. The position requires expertise in security orchestration and automation platforms, scripting languages, API technologies, and integration with SIEM and EDR/XDR systems. The engineer will also be involved in developing security workflows and playbooks, as well as automating cloud security and CI/CD processes. This is a senior-level position requiring significant experience in the field.
Must have
- 7+ Years Experience
- SOAR: Torq / XSOAR / Splunk SOAR
- Python / PowerShell / Bash
- REST APIs, JSON, Webhooks & JQ
- SIEM & EDR/XDR integrations
- Incident Response & Threat Intelligence
