Manager - Finance and IT
About the role
The Manager – Finance & IT will oversee the finance and IT functions for an electronics and engineering manufacturing company located in the Katunayake Free Trade Zone, Sri Lanka. Key responsibilities include managing finance operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, overseeing budgeting and financial planning, and coordinating audits. The role also involves managing ERP systems (with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central), IT infrastructure, and leading process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, a professional finance qualification, at least 5 years of managerial experience in finance, ERP, or IT, and hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Must have
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification in CIMA, ACCA, CA Sri Lanka, or an equivalent professional body.
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in Finance, ERP, or IT-related functions.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is must
- Strong understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and reporting requirements.
- Experience in ERP implementation, administration, or process improvement projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Nice to have
- Degree or professional qualification in Information Technology.
- Experience in a manufacturing or export-oriented environment.
- Exposure to Power BI, business intelligence tools, and process automation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and production-related financial processes.
