Technical Project Manager
About the role
The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end software delivery process for an AI-powered accounting workspace product. This includes feature planning, issue tracking, QA, release management, and post-release follow-up. The role requires close collaboration with software engineers, leveraging AI tools to enhance delivery efficiency, and developing repeatable workflows. Candidates should have a strong technical foundation and experience in software project delivery, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and communication. Must have
- 3 - 4 years of practical experience delivering software projects or features and taking ownership of outcomes.
- Strong hands-on experience using AI tools in day-to-day work, with examples of measurable improvements in productivity or quality.
- Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs, validate assumptions, and remain accountable for decisions.
- A solid technical foundation, with an understanding of APIs, databases, Git, software testing, and deployment processes.
- Experience with issue and feature management tools such as GitHub Issues, Linear, or Jira.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage changing priorities, work within short feedback cycles, and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to learn and take on challenging responsibilities.
Nice to have
- A software engineering or development background is preferred.
