Project Manager (Intern) -Scrum/Kanban
About the role
This is a paid 6-month internship for a Project Management & Business Analysis Intern within a software development team. The role offers hands-on experience working with both business and technical teams, focusing on Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. Key responsibilities include assisting in requirement gathering, translating business needs into user stories, supporting project planning, participating in Scrum ceremonies, coordinating communication among team members, and maintaining project management tools. Candidates should be pursuing or have recently completed a relevant degree and possess strong English communication skills, documentation abilities, and a proactive attitude. The position is hybrid, combining work from the Colombo office and remote work.
Must have
- Ability to confidently communicate with stakeholders, team members, and clients in English
- Fluent in English - both spoken and written communication is a must
- Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or a related field
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Sprint frameworks
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Proactive attitude and ability to work within cross-functional teams
