Senior Azure Cloud & Cybersecurity Engineer
About the role
Programus, a global software company specializing in solutions for the events, venue, and leisure sectors, is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud & Cybersecurity Engineer. The role involves managing and optimizing Microsoft Azure infrastructure, enhancing cloud security and access controls, monitoring security risks, supporting compliance with standards like ISO 27001 and SOC 2, and improving automation and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Azure Cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or DevOps, and will be responsible for driving improvements in security, performance, and reliability across the company's cloud operations.
Must have
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Azure Cloud, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, or DevOps.
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure architecture and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with cloud security, identity and access management, and Conditional Access.
- Knowledge of security monitoring, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with Terraform or ARM templates, Azure DevOps, Git, and scripting using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), Azure Monitor, and disaster recovery practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Good English communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- A passion for continuous improvement and emerging cloud and cybersecurity technologies.
