System Engineer - ATM/Debit Card Applications Support

Must have

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Information Technology or related field from a UGC recognized local or foreign university
• Should have a minimum 05 years of hands-on experience in Payment Card Industry OR in ATM switching software with transaction processing.
• Minimum 2 years proven experience working with BASE24 application (Classic/ EPS) and HP Nonstop server platforms will be added advantage.
• Project planning and management, with the ability to manage Cards related projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of system & log analyst, configuration, patching, API, HSM, personalization system, ATM / POS / E-com, security, and PCI DSS
• Knowledge on network, server, and database management (Ms. SQL server and Oracle).
• Experience in a Business Analyst role performing the listed responsibilities, including experience with the following artefacts is desirable:
• Demonstrable technical skills and ability to learn technology
• Strong organization, written and oral communication skills
• Experience facilitating group sessions to gather requirements with ability to ask relevant questions to drill into the details
• Experience tracking and driving deliverables to completion
• Experience with ATM software and hardware or experience with transaction processing, reconciliation, and hardware integration.
• Experience handling with Log analysis, performance tuning, and troubleshooting and secure connectivity (HSMs, encryption, TLS)
• Knowledge of ISO 8583 messaging, secure connectivity, encryption, and HSM interactions, Key Management process and EMV technology
• Familiarity with PCI-DSS requirements, Information security best practices in card environments and DR, BCP, and high-availability setups
• Ability to read and interpret Scheme technical specifications and System design documents and integration guides
• Strong incident management and escalation handling skills
• Ability to work under pressure during critical incidents and cutover activities
• Experience in change management and release coordination
• Good Communications skills.

• Problem-Solving Ability: Strong capability to troubleshoot complex BASE24 and ATM-related issues

• Compliance Awareness: Strong understanding of regulatory, audit, and security requirements
• Availability: Able to work during off-hours, system upgrades, DR drills, and ATM-related incidents

• Professional Certification in ITIL Foundation will be added advantage

Highlights
