AI & Automation Specialist
About the role
Livest (Pvt) Ltd, a leading construction service provider based in Kadawatha and Kottawa, Sri Lanka, is seeking an AI & Automation Specialist. The role involves analyzing business processes to identify automation opportunities, designing and implementing AI-powered tools and workflows, and integrating these solutions with existing business systems. The specialist will collaborate with various departments, support the adoption of AI tools, and ensure responsible use of AI technologies. The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in a relevant field and up to 1–2 years of experience, with a strong interest in AI, automation, and emerging technologies. The company offers a dynamic environment with a team of over 70 professionals and encourages proactive, innovative thinking.
Must have
- Degree or diploma in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 1–2 years of relevant experience in AI, automation, software development, data analysis, or technology-related roles.
- Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, business automation, and emerging technologies.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of AI tools, automation platforms, APIs, and workflow automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical technology and automation solutions.
- Good understanding of process mapping, workflow design, and continuous process improvement.
- Ability to research, evaluate, test, and learn new technologies independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Good attention to detail and a structured approach to documenting processes and solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
- Awareness of data security, privacy, access control, and responsible AI usage.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to experiment, test new ideas, and develop practical Proofs of Concept.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Python, SQL, Power BI, data analysis, or scripting is an advantage.
