System Analyst
About the role
The System Analyst position at Ceylon Shipping Corporation Ltd (Ministry of Ports & Civil Aviation) involves analyzing and managing wide area network systems within the organization. The role requires candidates to possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field recognized by the University Grants Commission, along with at least one year of relevant post-qualification experience for external candidates, or equivalent internal qualifications. The selected candidate will be placed on the MM 1-1 salary scale and will receive additional government-approved allowances and benefits. Recruitment will be through a structured interview conducted by a panel appointed by the authority. Applicants must be Sri Lankan citizens and meet the specified age and qualification criteria.
Must have
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science recognized by the University Grants Commission. Or A Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Science as a main subject from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission. And Minimum of One (01) year post qualifying experience in wide area network systems in a Government Department/Corporation/Board or a reputed Mercantile Establishment after obtaining the above qualification. Qualifications relating to the external candidates above Or Officer of the Junior Manager (JM 1-2) category with Five (05) years satisfactory service in the subject area relevant to the post.
