IT Infrastructure Engineer - Sri Lanka Position
About the role
The IT Infrastructure Engineer at GAC Group IT will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the company's global infrastructure, including network, virtualization, cloud, backup, disaster recovery, and hybrid environments. The role involves managing and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure, administering Azure networking and virtualization platforms, implementing security controls, and ensuring reliable backup and disaster recovery solutions. The position requires a bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and certifications in Cisco, Azure, and virtualization technologies. The engineer will work as part of a team that supports over 6,000 users worldwide, focusing on both on-premises and Microsoft Azure environments.
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Cisco CCNA or CCNP.
- Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-700
- Virtualization certifications such as VMware and Hyper-V
Nice to have
- Having experience in implementing ZTNA will be an advantage.
