Systems Engineer
About the role
The Systems Engineer will join IronOne's technical team to support the installation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of systems, servers, networks, and IT infrastructure. The role is suitable for recent graduates or individuals with foundational IT knowledge who are eager to develop technical skills and gain hands-on experience in systems administration, infrastructure management, and IT operations. Key responsibilities include assisting with system setup and maintenance, supporting Windows and Linux operating systems, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with senior engineers. Candidates should have a diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a basic understanding of networking and troubleshooting.
Must have
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of operating systems, computer hardware, networking, and IT concepts.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN concepts.
- Basic troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and work in a team-oriented environment.
