About the role
The Senior Executive - Graphics at Ahmad Tea Limited will join the Graphics Team in Colombo, aligning with the strategic objectives of the Ahmad Tea Graphics Department. The role involves executing all packaging artwork requirements, developing layouts for packaging and marketing collateral, and supporting cross-functional manufacturing, sales, and marketing objectives. Key responsibilities include artwork management, design adaptation, artwork approval for commercial production, and operational support. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of English, be able to meet deadlines, and be prepared to travel to the Emirates for training. Salary is negotiable.
Must have
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Computer Graphics
- Professional Certification / Diploma in Packaging Design
- Adobe Photoshop Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office Suite
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of proven experience in graphics, artwork development, and design operations, preferably within an MNC in the FMCG or manufacturing sector.
- Highly proficient in Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite, and other visual design tools, alongside a strong command of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated ability to adapt existing designs, perform advanced image creation and retouching, and propose innovative, independent design concepts.
- Experienced in managing multilingual assets, including meticulous proofreading and quality assurance of final artworks.
- Comprehensive understanding of commercial printing and packaging environments, standards, and processes.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with native or professional fluency in both written and spoken English.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision.
