Intern – Enterprise Engineer
About the role
This internship position is for an Enterprise Engineer Intern to join the Business Process Automation team. The role involves assisting in analyzing and documenting business processes, supporting the development and deployment of automation workflows, and working with Java or C# code for back-end services or integrations. The intern will also prepare documentation, participate in user acceptance testing, collaborate with various stakeholders, and help troubleshoot automation solutions. Candidates should be pursuing or have recently completed a degree in IT or a related field, and must have strong hands-on experience with Java or C#. The position requires onsite, full-time work in Sri Lanka.
Must have
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java or C# is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Must be available to work onsite full-time in Sri Lanka.
Nice to have
- Experience with back-end or integration projects, especially as a freelancer, is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Power Automate, IBM BPM/BAW, or other automation platforms is a plus.
- Exposure to REST APIs, JSON, XML, BPMN or database queries (SQL) is desirable.
