Network Security Engineer
About the role
Oak Integrated Systems (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a Network Security Engineer to join their team in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The role involves designing, configuring, and deploying complex cybersecurity solutions, partnering with sales teams, conducting workshops and demos, and providing both onsite and remote support to clients. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in cybersecurity, strong networking knowledge, and hands-on expertise with security technologies such as Firewalls, WAF, SIEM, and Data Protection Solutions. Must have
- Minimum 5 – 7 years of experience in Cybersecurity, including 3 – 4 years in a similar role at a System Integrator / Solutions Provider.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT specializing in Cybersecurity or Networking.
- Strong knowledge of Networking, Information Security concepts and practices.
- Hands-on experience with security technologies such as Firewalls, WAF, SIEM, and Data Protection Solutions.
- Proven ability to design and configure complex cybersecurity solutions.
- Self-motivated, proactive learner with a commitment to staying current with evolving technologies and industry trends.
- Must hold CCNA certification with excellent networking knowledge.
- Willingness to travel across Sri Lanka, and work extended hours when required.
Nice to have
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ / CySA+ / CEH are an advantage.
