Delivery Manager - Lending Services
About the role
This is a general talent pool opening for the position of Delivery Manager - Lending Services within the Lending Services business unit. The role involves managing a team and overseeing the processing and monitoring of corporate or SME loans, analyzing financial statements, conducting credit appraisals, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Candidates should have significant experience in similar roles within banks or financial institutions, strong analytical and communication skills, and relevant educational qualifications. The position is not tied to a specific vacancy; shortlisted candidates will be contacted by the Talent Acquisition Team for further recruitment steps.
Must have
- A minimum of eight years of work experience in a similar role in corporate loans or SME divisions of banks/financial institutions
- Experience in managing small teams
- Comprehensive involvement in processing credit applications and monitoring loans on an ongoing basis
- Excellent understanding of corporate financial statements
- A degree in business/accounting/economics or a completed professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or CA Sri Lanka
- A highly analytical mind, with absolute attention to detail
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- A strong work ethic
- The ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure
Nice to have
- Familiarity with/expertise in a specific sector will be an added advantage
- A full/part CFA qualification will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of AI capabilities and practical business applications is a plus
