Graphic Designer
About the role
The Graphic Designer will join the Sports Publications team at Sporting Star, a leading gaming and entertainment business in Sri Lanka. The role involves designing and producing the daily sports paper, formatting sports information for publication, preparing print-ready artwork, editing images and layouts, coordinating with editorial and printing teams, and creating promotional materials. Candidates should have a diploma in Graphic Design or a related field, proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and strong English skills. Must have
- Ability and willingness to work a rotational shift schedule of two weeks of day shifts (08.30 am - 05.00 pm) and two weeks of night shifts (05.00 pm - 01.30 am) each month.
- Diploma in Graphic Design or a related field.
- Passion for local and international sporting events.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Good command of written and reading English.
- Strong knowledge of typography, page layout, colour management, and print production.
- Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet daily publication deadlines.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in sports data or sports publications will be an added advantage.

Highlights
