Software Engineer/Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack (Frontend Focused)
About the role
This role is for a Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer with a full stack focus, primarily on frontend technologies. The position involves developing, testing, and maintaining scalable web applications using Angular and React (Next.js), translating UI/UX designs into responsive interfaces, and integrating with backend services built on .NET 10. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in frontend frameworks, web standards, and performance optimization, as well as working knowledge of backend technologies and microservices architectures. Must have
- Degree from a recognized university, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Minimum of 3+ years of industry experience in web application development, with a strong focus on front-end engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular (3+ years), including TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx, and Angular CLI.
- Strong hands-on experience with React (2+ years) and Next.js, including Hooks, functional components, App Router, server-side rendering (SSR) / static site generation (SSG), and state management (Redux / Redux Toolkit or Context API).
- Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive, mobile-first web design principles.
- Experience with UI component libraries and styling frameworks such as Material UI, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS.
- Good understanding of web accessibility (WCAG), cross-browser compatibility, and front-end performance optimization.
- Working knowledge of C# and .NET 10 (ASP.NET Core Web API) and ORM tools for building and maintaining back-end services.
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data flows.
- Experience developing and integrating with microservices-based architectures, including service-to-service communication, API gateways, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Working knowledge of relational database management systems (MS SQL/MYSQL).
- Sound knowledge of web application security, including authentication and authorization (OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect, JWT) and common vulnerabilities such as XSS and CSRF.
- Good understanding of component-based architecture, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Familiarity with source control systems such as Git and SVN, and a basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Agile practices, and the SDLC.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Nice to have
- Exposure to micro-frontend architecture, .NET Framework (ASP.NET MVC), or cloud platforms (Azure / AWS) will be considered an added advantage.
