Intern IOT Engineer
About the role
Quantix Global is seeking an Intern IoT Engineer to join their team in Pelawatta, Sri Lanka. The role involves assisting in building and testing interactive robots and IoT devices using platforms such as ESP32, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi. Responsibilities include writing and debugging device firmware, connecting devices to cloud platforms via APIs, integrating with web applications, and documenting designs and test results. The ideal candidate is currently pursuing or has recently completed a degree in a relevant field, has hands-on experience with IoT hardware, and possesses programming skills in C/C++ or Python. The position is on-site and offers the opportunity to work with a team building custom software platforms and interactive robots for live events and brand activations.
Must have
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Software Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Electronics or a related field from a recognized university
- Studied IoT and built loT projects
- Hands-on experience with Arduino, ESP32 or Raspberry Pi
- Programming skills in C/C++ or Python
- Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
