Operations Specialist - Marketplace (Data Analyst)
About the role
The Operations Specialist – High-Value Products will join a global tech-enabled mobility leader's marketplace team in Colombo, Sri Lanka. This full-time role focuses on maintaining marketplace health and scaling premium product categories through a blend of data analytics and creative growth strategies. Key responsibilities include monitoring marketplace metrics, executing growth roadmaps, collaborating with marketing and regional teams, making data-driven decisions, and independently managing strategic projects. Candidates should have a strong analytical background, hands-on experience in data-driven operations, and advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, with SQL knowledge preferred. Must have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in a data-driven operations, strategy, or marketplace management role within a tech-enabled environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel is required.
- Strong analytical capabilities combined with creative problem-solving.
- High bias for action, excellent communication, and collaborative stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
- Working knowledge or proficiency in SQL is highly preferred.
- Practical knowledge of digital marketing platforms and growth experimentation is a distinct advantage.
