About the role
Abans Group is seeking an IT Hardware Technician (Field) to join their team. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining IT equipment, particularly laptops and tablets, for clients in the field. The technician will be responsible for providing technical support, ensuring customer satisfaction, and traveling to various locations as needed. Candidates should have a basic understanding of IT hardware, software, and networking, and must be able to communicate effectively with customers. Must have
- NVQ Level 4 or an equivalent qualification in IT or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Basic understanding of IT hardware, software, and networking
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair IT equipment (especially laptops and tablets)
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Must own a motorbike; fuel expenses for work-related travel will be reimbursed
