Backend Developer
About the role
The Backend Developer at True Foam (Pvt) Ltd will be responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of ERP systems that manage the full production cycle of latex mattresses. The role involves building and maintaining Laravel/Livewire features, designing and optimizing MySQL queries and schemas, resolving bugs, collaborating with factory teams, conducting training, ensuring code quality, and coordinating with department stakeholders. Candidates should have strong PHP and Laravel expertise, familiarity with Livewire and Tailwind CSS, proficiency in Git, and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Must have
- Strong understanding of PHP 8.x, OOP, modern language features, and extensive experience with Laravel 10 (routing, Eloquent ORM, queues, middleware, and service providers).
- Familiarity with Livewire 2.x (component lifecycle, reactive state, form handling) and knowledge of Tailwind CSS for utility-first, responsive layouts.
- Expertise in MySQL query optimization, schema design, and handling multi-connection setups.
- Proficiency with Git (branching, merging, pull requests) and the ability to quickly understand and work with unfamiliar codebases.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record in building and maintaining complex systems.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
