Senior Manager – Business Transformation
About the role
The Senior Manager – Business Transformation will lead digital transformation initiatives and manage core business applications within a leading glass packaging manufacturer in Sri Lanka. The role involves overseeing SAP and non-SAP enterprise applications, optimizing business processes, and acting as a strategic liaison between business units, IT, and external consultants. Key responsibilities include driving process automation, managing SAP module rollouts and enhancements, analyzing workflows, and promoting the adoption of BI tools and change management protocols. The position is based at the company's manufacturing facility in Horana and reports to the Assistant Vice President / Financial Controller.
Must have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in business transformation, business analysis, and enterprise application management.
- Proven hands-on exposure to one or more SAP functional modules (e.g., SD, EWM, LE, MM, FICO, PP/QM), including experience with SAP rollouts, system enhancements, and upgrades.
- Strong understanding of non-SAP enterprise systems (such as Salesforce and HRIS) and their technical integration with SAP core backends.
- Exceptional process optimization, solution design, problem-solving, and cross-functional stakeholder management capabilities.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of BI dashboards and process automation is an added advantage.
