Senior QA Engineer
About the role
The Senior QA Engineer at ObjectOne (Private) Ltd will play a key role in designing and executing test strategies, automating tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and mission-critical software solutions for the telecom industry. The position involves working on complex, real-world problems in a fast-paced environment, focusing on both manual and automated testing, test plan development, and continuous improvement of QA processes. Must have
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in software testing/QA in enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., RestAssured, Postman, Karate)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration
- Good understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases for test data validation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Nice to have
- Knowledge of performance and security testing (nice to have)
- Experience in telecom domain, microservices, or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus
