About the role
The Senior Engineer, Technology Delivery & Operations at LSEG's Post Trade Technology Division in Malabe, Sri Lanka, will provide operational, technical, and project support for the Securities Engineering team. The role focuses on maintaining technology service stability, supporting KTLO (Keep the Lights On) activities, and contributing to cybersecurity and strategic technology delivery initiatives. Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise technology environments in a financial services organization is preferred.
- Understanding of IT service management processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
- Familiarity with project delivery methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, technology risk, and security controls.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Nice to have
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow enterprise tools.
- Exposure to securities trading, capital markets, or investment banking technology.
- Knowledge of AWS cloud platforms, infrastructure, or application support.
- Understanding of operational resilience, governance, and regulatory requirements within financial services.
