About the role

Huawei Sri Lanka is seeking motivated and technically strong Solution Engineers for Data Communication to support customer and partner solution development across IP Networking and Optical Communication technologies. The role involves designing, presenting, and supporting networking solutions, staying updated with changes in AI, cloud, and emerging ICT technologies, and developing the capability to support AI-related infrastructure and integrated ICT solutions. Both fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds and experienced professionals are encouraged to apply. The position offers opportunities to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with internal and external teams.

Must have

Education: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
Fresh graduates from reputable universities with First Class or Second Class Upper / equivalent academic performance are encouraged to apply.
Candidates with relevant experience in networking, telecom, ICT infrastructure, or solution engineering are also welcome.
Good understanding of networking fundamentals such as IP, Routing, Switching, Ethernet, WAN, and network architecture.
Knowledge or exposure to Optical Communication, Transmission, or Optical Networking will be an added advantage.
Interest in AI, cloud, data center, and emerging ICT technologies will be highly valued.

Nice to have

Relevant Huawei, Cisco, or other industry certifications will be an advantage.
