Mobile Application Developer
About the role
Aecendir is seeking a Mobile Application Developer to design, build, and maintain mobile applications that integrate AI-driven features. The role involves implementing new features, writing clean and efficient code, collaborating with product and AI engineering teams, troubleshooting and debugging, and optimizing applications for performance and scalability. The developer will also participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure mobile solutions remain aligned with evolving machine learning and backend services. The position is full-time and hybrid, based in Colombo, with flexibility for remote work and on-site collaboration as needed. The company specializes in advanced AI systems and works closely with industry partners to deliver impactful solutions.
Must have
- Strong skills in Mobile Application Development and experience delivering production-ready Mobile Applications.
- Proficiency in Application Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles for scalable, maintainable code.
- Hands-on experience with iOS Development, including use of relevant frameworks, tools, and app store deployment practices.
- Knowledge of integrating mobile apps with RESTful APIs, cloud services, and backend systems.
- Familiarity with AI or machine learning products, or willingness to learn how to integrate AI features into mobile applications.
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and manage time and priorities independently.
