About the role
The Manager - Global Data Privacy at Bridge BSS Talent is responsible for ensuring compliance with data protection laws in Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and Indonesia. The role involves tracking regulatory developments, updating internal policies, and maintaining information security and privacy management systems in line with ISO standards. Key responsibilities include conducting privacy assessments, managing privacy projects, supporting audits, handling data subject requests and incidents, and delivering privacy awareness training across multiple countries. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to work across cultures and translate legal requirements into practical processes.
Must have
- Strong analytical and risk-assessment mindset
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Cross-cultural communication and regional sensitivity across Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Indonesia
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different markets and time zones
- Ability to translate legal and regulatory requirements into practical, business-friendly processes
- High attention to detail and integrity in handling confidential information
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to deliver trainings to diverse audiences
