Manager NOC Operations
About the role
The Manager – NOC Operations will lead and manage Network Operations Center functions in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment within the telecommunications/network services industry in Sri Lanka. The role is responsible for overseeing 24x7 network operations, ensuring service availability, managing incident response, and leading technical teams. Key responsibilities include operational leadership, incident management, network monitoring, ensuring compliance with security standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates should have a strong background in enterprise network infrastructure, operational frameworks, and Cisco technologies. The position is offered by InTalent Asia on behalf of their client.
Must have
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in NOC Operations, Network Operations, or Network Infrastructure Management.
- Proven experience leading and managing NOC teams within a 24x7 operational environment.
- Strong expertise in incident management, network monitoring, operational support, and service assurance.
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise network infrastructure and operational frameworks.
- Strong technical expertise in Cisco technologies, including routing and switching.
- Sound knowledge of network security technologies, firewalls, and related infrastructure.
- Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure operational environments.
Nice to have
- Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, or equivalent networking certifications will be highly advantageous
